This is a high-impact, cross-functional role designed for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys solving complex business problems, and can seamlessly navigate between strategic thinking and tactical execution.</p> <p>You will serve as a critical bridge between Finance &amp; Strategy, Data Science, Strategy &amp; Operations, Product, and Go-to-Market teams, managing executive-level requests, driving cross-functional initiatives, and continuously improving processes through automation and optimization.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <h3><strong>Reporting, Metrics &amp; Analytics:&nbsp;</strong></h3> <ul> <li> <p>Build and own models for in-depth analyses, as well as ensure their quality, timeliness, and accuracy.&nbsp;</p> </li> <li> <p>Partner with cross functional teams, such as Data Science, to develop reporting dashboards, define metrics and leading indicators of business performance</p> </li> <li> <p>Translate business questions into analytical frameworks to generate insights into business performance and operational efficiency.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Process Optimization &amp; Automation:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Identify recurring work patterns and convert ad-hoc requests into structured, automated processes.&nbsp;</li> <li>Manage data workflows, streamline reporting processes, and leverage tools for efficiency gains.</li> <li>Drive continuous process improvement, standardization, and simplification across Finance &amp; Strategy workflows</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Cross-Functional Program Management:&nbsp;</strong></h3> <ul> <li> <p>Drive high-priority initiatives such as annual planning, forecasting cycles, and other cross-functional programs across Stripe</p> </li> <li> <p>Own end-to-end execution from scoping through to implementation, managing multiple stakeholders and ensuring alignment and timely delivery.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Executive Support &amp; Strategic Materials:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Support preparation for internal operating forums, board meetings, and executive leadership reviews.&nbsp;</li> <li>Synthesize complex information into concise executive summaries and decision-ready materials to shape and influence decision-making.</li> <li>Respond to executive-level inquiries requiring quick turnaround and cross-functional data gathering</li> </ul> <p><strong>Stakeholder Partnership &amp; Influence:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Build strong collaborative working relationships with senior leaders across Finance &amp; Strategy, Data Science, Strategy &amp; Operations, Product and GTM.</li> <li>Navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, working tactfully to align competing priorities and drive consensus — often influencing without direct authority.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></h2> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, Investment Banking, Equity Research, Management Consulting, Strategy &amp; Operations, or Corporate Strategy roles</li> <li>MBA or Master's degree from a top-tier program</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and translate them into actionable strategies</li> <li>Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously</li> <li>Exceptional stakeholder management abilities, including experience working with C-level executives and senior leadership, and influencing without direct authority</li> <li>Excellent communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to synthesize complex information into concise, decision-ready materials</li> <li>Self-starter mentality with demonstrated ability to drive initiatives without close supervision</li> <li>The ability to maintain high performance under tight timelines and a "roll up your sleeves" mindset to get any job done</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Experience working at a high-growth technology or fintech company</li> <li>Demonstrated experience in process automation, workflow optimization, or business process improvement</li> <li>Experience in data visualization and dashboarding</li> <li>Proficiency in SQL or a willingness to learn</li> <li>Strong knowledge of GSuite tools, Oracle, Anaplan, Tableau, or other equivalent application experience</li> </ul>
