Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies - from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.

What you’ll do

As a brand environment project manager at Stripe, you will manage the end-to-end buildout of an experiential brand buildout.

Responsibilities

Manage a build-out end-to-end. Manage the project from initial concept through opening, coordinating with developers, architects, and consultants to deliver a premium environment on time and on budget.

Quarterback operational workstreams to completion. Serve as the primary problem-solver, bridging the gap between creative vision and technical execution to unblock stalemates and keep the project moving.

Orchestrate a procurement supply chain. Manage the procurement of everything from furniture, to of long-lead custom materials (stone, millwork, lighting), anticipating manufacturing bottlenecks and logistics hurdles to ensure availability never delays the critical path.

Drive accountability across vendors. Manage architects, general contractors, and custom fabricators aggressively to ensure work of the highest caliber is delivered on pace.

Rigorously manage the project budget. Maintain real-time visibility into costs, guiding leadership through financial decisions and identifying value-engineering opportunities that save money without sacrificing the "wow" factor.

Codify decision-making. Create memos and documentation to track critical choice points, ensuring clear communication of trade-offs and approvals.

Be uncompromising on the final result. Deliver a build that is aesthetically stunning and functions flawlessly. You will ensure the "high design" vision is realized without sacrificing operational performance (AV, flow, durability).

Who you are

We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements

5+ years of experience managing high-end retail, luxury hospitality, or experiential build-outs. You understand what it takes to deliver "flagship quality" spaces.

Deep technical mastery of construction systems (MEP, AV, Lighting) paired with an obsession for fit, finish, and custom fabrication details.

Proven success delivering singular, high-end, capital intensive projects. You excel at deep-diving into one massive initiative rather than juggling many small tasks.

Strong commercial acumen. You are skilled at negotiating contracts, managing aggressive budgets, and holding GCs and vendors accountable without compromising design.

A "translator" between Brand and Build. You can effectively communicate complex technical constraints to creative teams and strategic business goals to construction partners.

A strategic problem solver. You don't just flag issues; you anticipate risks in the schedule and budget months in advance and bring solutions to the table.

Executive communication experience.

About the role

Full time contractor

Full benefits included
